Mangiacane Estate, a 15th Century Italian Estate centrally located in Chianti wine region and only a 20 minute drive from Florence.  This Tuscan Estate was originally built for the Machiavelli family and the abundance of history dates way back to the days of Michelangelo who is rumoured to have played a part in the original design.  Today the Estate has been lovingly restored as a Small Luxury Hotel offering two stunning villas, Villa Machiavelli – 10 suites and Villa Mazzei ( runs as a hotel ) – 18 Rooms, a fine dining restaurant and an infinity pool which guests renting Villa Machiavelli are welcome to use, sharing with hotel guests . Collectively the Estate can accommodate around 60-65 guests with professional and experienced staff to organise any event or special celebration from a meeting for 10 to a reception for over 200. This can take place in a variety of private dining rooms, wine cellars, loggias, sculptured gardens, courtyards, vineyards or poolside.  Facilities include two swimming pools, unique sculpture gardens, Spa area and breathtaking Tuscan views.

 The two villas sit majestically amongst the olive groves and 600 acres of flourishing vineyards from which the Estate produces award winning Mangiacane wines and olive oil that guests can enjoy in Estate’s own wine tasting cellars and restaurant.

The interiors are elegantly furnished to the highest standard and the décor combines classic beauty with the Estate history, the art, the original Renaissance frescoes complemented by the typically, idyllic Tuscany countryside setting. Villa Machiavelli dates back to the 14th Century with 10 en-suite bedrooms offering views of the countryside, gardens and vineyards. It can be rented exclusively to enjoy privacy, personal butler service  and the delights of this Tuscan retreat.

Each suite has a separate spacious living room and dining area, a marble fitted bathroom, a luxurious king-size bed, a plasma TV, internet facilities and a connected terrace with direct views towards Florence. Additionally, the Royal suite has a fireplace, a marble and onyx fitted bathroom, a walk-in shower and steam room, a large dressing room area and a private dining area with butler service.
