Welcome to Villa Le Macine. This is a stunning villa located among the hills of the Chianti region.

The property has been meticulously restored. It features a central building and two barns (“Il Rosmarino” and “Il Leccio”). These are enveloped in lush, colourful vegetation. The vegetation is filled with fragrances and sounds. There is a unique connection with nature in a peaceful location. It blends naturally with the sound of the Pesa River.

The large mature grounds of Villa Le Macine offer a beautful swimming pool. There are gardens laid to lawn and several areas to relax and unwind. There is a choice of two outdoor brick pizza ovens and dining areas. These are ideal to entertain family and friends.  

The ground floor of Villa Le Macine houses a spacious living room. This leads into a magnificent dining room with a fireplace and bread oven. A kitchen, perfectly preserved from the 4th century AD, is found here. This mirrors the one in the Monumental Kitchen of Badia a Passignano.

There is a laundry room and a modern bathroom. Finally, the “Antique Room” suite adds an aura of luxury. It offers a large and luxurious private bathroom with travertine shower,

On the first floor, a bright living room dominates the scene with its central truss. A fireplace makes the atmosphere even more special. From this floor, you can reach the “I Cipressi” and “Il Susino” suites. These both offer private bathrooms and travertine showers. The “I Cipressi” suite also features a freestanding bathtub with a panoramic view of the Villa’s garden.

The “Le Macine” suite is located on the garden floor. It has direct access to an exclusive terrace. The 'Le Macine' suite has been entirely carved out of the ancient mill’s manger. The manger was used to rest horses and for grain storage. This is still visible in the suite’s private bathroom. What makes this room even more special is its proximity to the mill room. Here the ancient millstones, from which it takes its name, are still present.

The villa is composed of two annexes. One. the Rosemary Suite is located on the left side of the main building. The Rosemary Suite is the biggest annex. It extends over two levels. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a bathroom. There is also access to a front terrace and a lateral loggia used as a dining area. On the upper floor there is a loft with two single beds overlooking the villa’s pool.

“Il Leccio”, formerly an ancient sawmill (the small annex), is located opposite the main villa. It overlooks the park directly across a paved terrace. This accomodation comprises a living room with a fireplace. There is also a kitchen with a historical marble sink and a double bedroom with an open shower.
