The popular hillside town of Cortona is within easy reach. Drive into Umbria with its traditional towns and cities including Perugia and Siena and its famous Piazza.  The wine towns such as Montepulciano and Montalcino are a drive away. Aldo visit Lake Trasimeno (the only lake in Tuscany) and several spa towns which are a drive away.

Closer to the villa is a supermarket and 2 x pizzerias. These are approx. 2km away. There is also the local town of Foiano della Chiana which is approx 6km away. Here you will find a designer outlet village, local shops and a quality Tuscan bakery.
