Tintswalo is an exclusive South Africa safari lodge with unique architecture and stone cladding, under traditional grassing situated on a private Manyeleti Game Reserve concession, within the Greater Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga province. A pristine wilderness reserve nestled between the Sabi Sand, Timbavati and Kruger Park, the Manyeleti abounds in big five game and spectacular bird life. The area is unique for its minimal vehicle density, offering a true exclusive wilderness safari experience.

Tintswalo Safari Lodge’s suites and main lodge areas are all situated along a seasonal river bed among an ancient sycamore tree grove. The exquisitely appointed main lodge overlooks a waterhole frequented by herds of elephant and other thirsty game. The luxury Explorer Suites and Presidential Suite are all linked to the main lodge by raised wooden walkways. The Baines Presidential Suite is available as a full take over facility, or as an additional suite within the main lodge.

Tintswalo in the native Shangaan language means ‘the intangible feeling of love, gratitude and peace. The air-conditioned suites are authentically decorated to recall the days of the nineteenth century South African explorers and are situated along the banks of the seasonal Nwaswitsontso River. These wonderful suites provide supreme comfort, privacy and the perfect place to watch the bird life along with the spotting a large variety of big game. The indoor/outdoor shower is adjacent to the spacious bathroom, which opens out onto the deck and a private plunge pool

A Typical day at Tintswalo: everything is arranged around you and could begin with early morning game viewing, breakfast in the bush, more game-viewing , an al fresco lunch or high tea and leisure time at the lodge. You can browse around the small exclusive library of rare books, curio shop or relax completely in the Vital Source Spa. Visits to surrounding areas and attractions can be arranged at an additional charged.  After tea an afternoon game viewing Safari with a sunset sundowner stop, will keep you excited until your day is completed with a superb candlelit dinner. The staff at Tintswalo will arrange for guests to dine privately or with other guests ensuring guests enjoy a different dining experience in a special venue each evening.

The Manor House:  situated within the Tintswalo Concession, a mere five minute drive from the main Safari Lodge. The magnificent Manor House offers an intimate family holiday haven, located along the banks of the seasonal Nwaswitsontso River. Unique in its design, the Manor House provides ideal shared ‘holiday home’ style accommodation for up to 10 guests. This splendid setting provides supreme comfort, privacy, and an opportunity for effortless bird watching and the chance to view a large variety of big game that frequent the watering hole in front of Manor House.
The Tintswalo Manor House is designed to be an exclusive holiday home for between six and ten guests. It consists of four en-suite bedrooms and a children’s room, a private swimming pool and outdoor boma area, as well as plenty of space for relaxation. The staff members, such as the chef, ranger and guide, are available to assist for the duration of your stay.
