Magnetic has been uniquely designed to eliminate the divide between outdoors and indoors and to capture the essence of living in Cape Town and both stunning mountain and sea views. The house, comfortably accommodates up to 12 people, in 6 bedrooms, separated into 2 areas on the first floor level, each area having a master suite and guest bedroom connected with a floating concrete bridge.

Entrance to the villa is by way of a timber bridge over a koi pond, then a double volume glass façade provides you with the welcoming view through the villa to the ocean. 2 steps lead down to the dining area and this access progresses over the pond, almost to the pool deck with vistas over the ocean naturally exploiting the space and the villa.

The fireplace opens on 3 sides with a floating flue canopy, which forms the visual separation between the living area and the bridge space. On the other side the kitchen is visible flows out onto the outdoor spa and breakfast deck.

The pool hugs one side of the villa, and with the dining room having the same hardwood floor as the pool deck this helps to create the feeling of dining on the deck rather than indoors. The designers have also added a white concrete dining room table together with plush suede chairs to further enhance this effect.
