Sugar Bay on the Beach is a fabulous, 5 bedroom villa located on Discovery Bay. It sits on its own sugary white sand beach lapped by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.  This exquisite home has just undergone a redecoration. All interiors have just been refreshed throughout and are distinguished by elegant custom-designed furniture, gleaming breadnut floors, and fascinating artworks from around the world. There has also been an addition of a brand new air conditioned Gym.

The entrance features a sweeping staircase that curves gracefully through the magnificent living room to a minstrel's gallery. Upstairs there is a cosy sitting room with satellite/DSS television and VCR. Quadraphonic speakers fill the vaulted living room, verandah, and pool area with sound. Salmon-hued Italian tiles, the blue mosaic pool, flower-draped balconies and porches, and textures of terra cotta and stone create a Mediterranean ambiance. From the large verandah, the soft grassy lawn gently slopes 30 feet to the 100-foot private beach.

Home-cooked meals are served on the verandah  or guests may also choose to dine in the country-French indoor dining room. This is quietly elegant room with a unique hand-carved sideboard and rush-woven chairs. As a special treat, the staff will plan a torchlight beach party ~ with chicken, lobster, tenderloin, or fresh fish grilled on the outdoor barbecue.

The seaside gazebo provides a wonderful platform for watching glorious sunsets across the water and dining romantically by candlelight. Star-gazing from this spot is magical.

Water sports are available just a few minutes’ drive from Sugar Bay. In lively Ocho Rios, 25 minutes away are nightlife, excellent restaurants, shops, open-air craft markets, more water sports, Prospect Plantation Great House, rafting on the Martha Brae, jitney tours of a working plantation, and dramatic Dunn's River Falls. The driving time from Montego Bay Airport to Sugar Bay is approximately 55 minutes. Discovery Bay is a pristine aqua jewel on Jamaica's north coast boasting some of the Island's most beautiful private homes. Sugar Bay is one of the best.
