You will enter this prestigious property through its colonial gates and tranquil tropical gardens. Your first view beyond the immaculate open living space is the breathtaking Caribbean Sea with its crystal waves gently caressing the shore line.
Once you catch your breath enjoy the sight of the contemporary glass vases overflowing with decorative white roses.
The ground floor of this luxury Barbados villa is bright and open plan throughout. Huge windows foster a calming sense of being at one with your natural surroundings.
A large and comfortable lounge enjoys a cooling breeze and captivating views of the sea. To the north of the ground floor is an imposing oak table which provides ample space for dining. This home is equipped with a modern “Boffi” kitchen fitted with all the latest modern appliances. It is ideal for guests wishing to prepare their own light snacks and is useful for the butler who will be happy to prepare them for you.
The main, commercial kitchen (yes there are two beautiful kitchens!) allows the residence's cook to create delicious gourmet meals out of sight.
For less formal occasions two ambient open air seating areas offer a perfect setting in which to dine beneath the sultry evening sky.
Running parallel to the lounge is a 25 metre long pool, enclosed by a limestone deck. The deck is equipped with comfortable sun loungers providing the perfect place for you and your friends to relax. The pool is ideal for laps or a cooling dip. At both its ends are pavilions which can be used for a number of activities, including yoga, massages and al fresco dining.
Also on the ground floor is a unique, air conditioned, office. With glass walls and views over the extensive pool, lush gardens and glistening sea beyond, this presents an ideal space for those who need to keep those emails at bay.
Located next to the office you will find a cinema room. There is of course also a fitness room featuring a full range of state of the art equipment.
Grand staircases stand at either end of this beach hous. These are dressed by chandeliers made of delicate seashells which sway and whisper as the cooling trade winds flow through the house.
To the first floor five good sized double bedrooms, some with four poster beds, showcase further stunning views of the sea.
The master bedroom features a large circular bathtub with floor to ceiling windows and commanding views. It is cleverly positioned for privacy.
Throughout the house rooms are finished to the highest of standards, with soothing, neutrally toned décor and creamy pastel tiles and fabrics. All the latest technology has been included with Sonos sound systems and Lutron lighting.
Godings Beach Villa itself is perched above the beach. Access to the beach is via secure keypad gates.
No holiday home in Barbados would be complete without its toys. From the beach you may use the house kayaks to paddle or if you prefer to body surf there are body boards. There are also a pair of new Hobie Mirage Eclipse Stand Up Pedal Boards with handlebars. These can be pedalled through the waves making them stable and a more stylish way to enjoy being on the water.
Godings Beach House is an architectural dream. It is completely enclosed with a secure gated entrance.
Godings Beach House is rented with a full complement of staff including a butler, cook, housekeeper, laundress, gardener (with pool maintenance) and night time security from 7 pm to 7 am . There is also a House Manager and a full concierge service is provided as required.
